Years ago it was the new discipline of project management that, with its methods and tools, had a largely positive influence on the completion of projects in all industries. Today, software develop- ment has a multitude of methods at its disposal, in order to gauge the requirements of new projects and evaluate the results. Similarly high efficiency gains can be expected if the methods are continuously applied.
