With the AirCard product family, Sierra Wireless offers GSM/UMTS data cards which meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Depending on the respective wireless standard and design, Sierra offers a range of different models that are not bound to any particular wireless network provider (e.g. no SIM lock). In areas where there is no UMTS coverage, the card automatically switches to GPRS or EDGE mode and therefore also allows wireless communication outside of metropolitan areas. Its 32-bit architecture and its lean set of drivers provide maximum system performance.
